Welcome Home!

This weekend I had a fun time in my 9-5 career. I had the privilege of hosting an event for our Guest Services (GS) Team at the church. The thing that is really cool about our GS Team is they are a bunch of people that really just want to make others feel loved and cared for. Their goal is to welcome people in with big smiles and a sign in their hand that says “Welcome Home”. You know what I love about our gym? People feel that same thing when they come into our doors. You guys could be in the middle of a conversation with each other after finishing class and if you see someone you don't recognize, you say, “Hey, what's up my name is _____ welcome in” I am always impressed when I look over and see that. And man are we grateful for that. Thanks for seeing people that are coming into a big scary building and making it just a little less scary.

I know I brought this up last week too but man it is so true. You guys are so welcoming.

If you don't already greet people when they come in, try it. It’s pretty rewarding. One week Ashton talked to two different ladies when they came in and looked new. She made them feel so at ease. It was awesome. I have seen a bunch of you do that. 5AM gets a little bit of pass since they actually aren't awake until 20 minutes into the warm up.

Thanks for being that gym. Thanks for letting people into the circle and into the family. What a cool reputation to have rather than the kind that keeps the circle closed. So, much like our GS Team at church, keep saying, “Welcome Home!” to everyone that walks through the door. Love you guys and the culture that we have all built.
