We are so excited for this next week. With all that excitement comes the fun of bringing people into your beloved space.


For those of you bringing people into the gym, thank you for trusting us with your friends and family members over the next week. We, as a coaching team, have been preparing and are ready to help them have the best time and one of the best workouts of their lives. For those of you that are nervous about all these people coming into your space, we get it. Thank you for being ready and willing to welcome them in. 

If I have said it once, I've said it 100 times, “be the change you want to see.” For some of you in this gym you were invited into CrossFit by someone else. Well now you are doing that same thing for another. I am sure there were butterflies in your stomach. Remember them and help your friends and family cope with those. Help that obviously new person standing next to you to make it through the day without puking. A simple “Hi, I am James. Is this your first time doing CrossFit?” can help release some of that tension. 


Be the kind of person that invites rather than shuns or eye rolls. Be the kind of person you would have needed. Jump into this week with the same level of excitement as if it were your first week of CrossFit.
