Comp Tales. Culture.

Tales from the comp

Competition is always full of ups and downs. From the feeling of excitement and butterflies to judges trying to help competitors adjust weights. I was impressed with the level of comradery that was on display. Each team was really there to have fun. Even for those that wished they could have crushed every workout they were still happy to be there. Everyone kicked in to support each other. It was great to see.

I am so proud of the turnout we had at the Tough Love Throwdown. We had a bunch of support throughout the day. Juan, Noah, Dylan Stefanie and Paloma were all there showing up and putting in work. This got me pumped up like I used to being at the NorCal regionals (as a sports therapist NOT competitor haha) over the years.

Thanks again to all of those that were able to make it possible to cheer on our athletes. I really am grateful you were there. You have no idea how much it means to competitors to have someone there cheering them on.

Speaking of competition, the coaches and I have been talking about our future comp in October since we took over. We are excited to have an in-house, pairs only comp. More details to follow. Put it on your calendar for Saturday October 14th. This will be such a fun time together. Our culture is so amazing and we continue to grow in our strength as a CrossFit family.

Culture

Our culture is one that is growing, developing and improving. That is exciting. We believe in you. It is incredible to see the progress and confidence that you are all making. When you show up you are showing that we are a culture that puts in work. When you do the difficult things that are up on the board you are showing that we are a culture that gains confidence. When you show up each week you are showing that we have a culture of consistency. Thanks for growing this culture with us. I love this culture.

Keep building,

James and Bre Cooper
